Can dogs hike in Crater Lake National Park?
Partial Partly. Some trails and areas, not all.
Most trails are closed to dogs, with a couple of exceptions.
Where dogs can go
Godfrey Glen Trail, Grayback Drive, roads and parking areas.
What we do instead
The Oregon coast beaches, where she can walk nearly everything.
Watch out for
Rim Drive can close for snow by November 1, sometimes earlier.
OR. On our route: around Oct 30 to Nov 3. Rules change: check the park's own pet page before you go. Rhea is never boarded or kenneled; where she can't go, we find somewhere she can.
