The national forest wraps Glacier on the west and south and allows dogs on its trails.
Where dogs can go
The Swan Valley along MT-83, Jewel Basin Hiking Area, and trails around Bigfork and Kalispell.
Watch out for
Still grizzly country: leash on, bear spray on your body.
